The Guild

The Artisans Village Guild has over one hundred paid members from all over the Lake Country and beyond. We are the only active artist guild in the area!

The Guild meets the second Friday September through June at 10:00 a.m. The Lake Oconee branch of The Peoples Bank has been generous in allowing us to gather in their downstairs meeting room.

For each meeting, there is either a Speaker or an activity, both cover a wide variety of topics. Prior to the 10:00 a.m. meeting, there is a social time that begins at 9:30 a.m.

The Guild provides numerous opportunities for members to participate in workshops, festivals, teaching opportunities and learning opportunities.

The Guild has so much to offer in a variety of mediums: acrylic, watercolor and oil painting, textiles, jewelry- to name just a few

The Guild sponsors three major art events each year : Plein Air Paint Out, Dual Vision and Lake Country Juried Art Show. Follow the links for detailed information.

2019 Guild Sponsors

Those who sponsor The Artisans Village Guild believe in the arts and the power that art has to change lives, communities, trade and the economic well-being of those communities.

We are extremely grateful to our 2019 Guild Sponsors for their belief in the inspired artists of The Artisans Village Guild.
